From an early age DJ Abrantee knew his talent lay in entertaining and coupled with his love and knowledge of music it seemed only natural that he pursued the path of sharing his passion with club and party goers by ensuring them a good night out with his unique djing flair. Starting in the street sound 90�DJ Abrantee has gone on to entertain in London, UK clubs and as far a field as Antigua, Germany, Spain, Ghana, South Africa, Malta, Tenerife, Amsterdam, St Lucia and many more using his marketing skills to promote many successful events and his djing skills to entertain.
DJ Abrantee is no stranger to djing for some of the biggest names in Hip Hop and RnB when they come over to the UK to perform in concert. His list of artist include Missy Elliot, Ja Rule, Ray Jay, Fundamental, Busta Rhymes, Fabulous, Joe, Akon, Foxy Brown, Baby Cham, Jagged Edge and recently travelled to Ghana to DJ for the ‘Jigga Man’ himself at the Jay-Z after party.
However, his talent does not lay in the DJ and promotions arena alone. His repertoire includes hosting many prestigious award ceremonies; presenting DJ workshops to budding young entertainers; fronting advertising campaigns and will also oblige in voice overs and walk on parts on soaps including The Bill and Footballers Wives. Here he thrives on using his acting skills which is yet another one of his passions.
DJ Abrantee’s energy and zest for life is transmitted across the airwaves when he hosts his Saturday party night show on Choice FM simply entitled "Saturdays Choice" and djing regular at Choice FM’s own events.
DJ Abrantee is proud beyond belief of his Ghanaian origin and is extremely involved with this community hosting and Djing @ many events as well as running numerous successful promotions including the Annual Ghana Independence, which is a ’must be there’ event and a guaranteed sell out night with over 3,000 revellers in attendance. His contribution for Djing, promoting and entertaining was recently recognised and rewarded when he picked up Best Entertainer Of the Year at the Prestigious 2006 GMA awards
The award-winning DJAbrantee says “I am nowhere near finished fulfilling my dreams and with the help of my entertainment company and my passion for 942 djing, I will endeavour to continue to entertain the masses."
